Reverse Camera Active guidelines missing or not included?

Hi there folks!
3 week owner of 2015 MKC with 102 and climate package, No technology package, I didn't it was worth the extra money. I love the car so far, very comfy, its definitely worth the better leather seat.

My question, Do you guys have the active guideline when you put your car on reverse, P. 200 on the manual. When i first got my car, I thought I had it and then its gone missing. I went to the dealer and they checked it and come to find out it does NOT come with the 102 reserve package according to them. I didn't think it is correct thats why im asking for your help to check your Mkc's. It such helpful when your doing a reverse to have it.

I know the MKZ have it and I know alot of lower end ford models have them too! I called Lincoln and they said if my system is 3.6 and above, they removed this feature, again it doesn't make sense why they would remove it?

Please help me figure this out?

Thanks.

No it is not there. Probably some attorneys decided those lines created some kind of liability. It is odd that the manual calls them out though.

So without knowing either of your build dates it is a little tough to come to a conclusion.

Mine shows lines. You mean the red yellow green boxes too right? As I back up I see lines that guide me straight and if I am backing up and there is something behind me as I get closer "boxes" come up that go from green to yellow to red as I get closer. Yours does not do that?

The boxes with different colors are there but the active guilines arent. I guess im not the only one. I thought mine is broken.build Date 12/14. I dont understand why they didn't include it. I have to call lincoln and complain. All ford with the 8" screen have them I think.

Just another data point, the 2016 reverse camera works the same as mmoretti described.

I believe the thread starter is talking about arced lines in the rear camera that show back up path corresponding to how the front wheels are cut? Not the boxes, arcs.
Have not seen that on my October 2014 built Reserve, but I do not have the Tech package with Park Assist.

Yes im talking about the white lines and moves as you turn the wheels where it would predict where the car go as you reversing. Its very helpful. I have reserve and climate package but no tech package. The mkz with the 102 have this feature and same with many ford cars that dont have tech package.
I called lincold today and they said that feature was never removed from the newest update. I did told them that it should have been included.Thats why im checking with you guys who have it, if any, that doesnt have the tech package.
Its on P.200 on the manual.
