Tow Package details?

Does the tow package come with 7 pin connector?

Any pictures available of MKC with Lincoln Tow Package installed?

Bummer. Does it at least look nice?
I.e. as part of the vehicle instead of an afterthought.

Trailer hitch

We think it looks just fine on ours. We did get a plug for it with a Lincoln emblem on it.

Yes... I had it on my 2015 MKC... I thought it looked just fine. The factory one is well integrated.

I know nothing about trailer hitches or towing, but as a snowbird I need to drive a small car and the MKC 1,000 miles every 6 months. Instead of two of us doing the driving I would much prefer having the MKC tow the 3,500lb car Before I bought the MKC I asked my local U Haul store if it could be towed and they said that a small SUV like the MKC or even a mid size one like the MKX or Ford Edge or Nissan Murano are all too small to tow a car and if I tried, I could do major damage tot he transmission, engine, etc. They basically said I would need a large heavy duty type of pick-up truck. Does anyone dispute that opinion, and if so please provide details to someone (me) who has no idea about these things.
Thanks

You will need a larger tow vehicle than the MKC. Not only does the vehicles tow capacity come into play (3000 lb) but also wheelbase for stability. The MKC towing is more oriented to a couple of jet skis or a small fishing boat.
