Did any of you happen to see that in the latest issue of Consumer Reports (got mine this weekend)? The MKC ranked 4th in owner satisfaction in the luxury crossover category behind the Porsche Macan, Audi Q3 and Q5. Ahead of BMW, Lexus, Cadillac, Infiniti, Acura, Volvo XC60, Merc...etc..

I'm still thrilled as can be with mine. At first, there was a little corner in the back of my mind where I couldn't believe I picked the Lincoln over all the Euro lux brands. But now, I don't even car. This car is fan-freakin-tastic. The only thing that could pry me away is that refreshed MKZ!

Also we are very pleased with our 2016. I do have to pry it out of my wife's hands to drive it (usually for trips on the interstate). Probably one of the most comfortable vehicles we have owned and I love all the toys the climate and tech packages offer.

I have 2 of the worse of the lot..
A 2015 MKC and my other vehicle is a Yukon Denali.
I love them both and wouldn't choose anything else at this point.
12,000 miles on the MKC and 6,000 on the Denali, sure...a couple of hiccups with each but nothing out of the ordinary.

We have had ours for 2 months and it goes back to the shop for the 6th time this week. Gas sloshing. Car lunges. Power loss and dash goes totally blank. Hate this vehicle. Can't wait it get rid of it.

Is it a 2016 bought new? I've dealt with an insane amount of problems with my 2015 but so far the 2016 owners seem to have less problems. The lunging and power loss I don't believe I have heard of in any of the forums. My mkc seems to "lunge" or "lurch" sometimes oddly going down a hill. It's very brief and used to scare me as it almost seems the car accelerates on its own going downhill which you don't want. It does catch itself pretty quickly and stops feeling like its accelerating. I'm used to it now and stop getting that brief moment of panic to quickly hit the brake.

When you say it lunges forward is this from park or while you are driving?

I believe the recent JD Powers list for 2016 had Lincoln fairly high for vehicle dependability slightly above Audi and Mercedes.

How do they come up with the "dependability" factor? How is it all figured out? Does it count annoyance issues or just major ones? Always wondered how truly accurate these types of reports are and how they come up with their ratings.

JD Power evaluation is quite complete and covers the majority of complaints from annoying to significant. Filled ours out about 6 wks ago and fortunately for Lincoln we have had zero issues.
