1. Lincoln is going to pay to have the cargo hook and side panel if necessary, replaced

2. No longer do I have to drive 2 hours to the Lincoln dealer to get the 2 year prepaid maintenance performed (I was supposed to do this tomorrow). Lincoln has contacted the local Ford dealer and given them authorisation to do the maintenance at no charge to me. I am having the 32,000 km maintenance done on Thurs. and since I will be past the 2 years time frame before I reach 40,000 km, they are giving me a voucher good for 1 year for that maintenance.
Good to hear! There is hope for me if you had yours fixed by Lincoln.

We have had the same problem - twice - cargo hook popped out. The first time the Ford dealer just used epoxy to glue it back in (the hook wasn't broken). This second time the hook broke into pieces and it pulled out some of the fibreboard backing with it. I didn't think much of it until I heard some were charged $1000 to fix it! So I just left it. Now I will pursue a repair at their cost when we take it in for the next service.

I doubt that the Ford or Lincoln dealer with replace the cargo hook and inside panel without getting approval from Lincoln. You are probably going to have to fight for it just as I did.

My son broke ours a few months back. If it really is a one piece design like that then I'm just going to write it off.

I found this online though so I doubt it's still sold as a one piece part. https://ford.oemdtc.com/3179/interio...18-lincoln-mkc

Did you click on any of the internal links? I only get a key fob or net from Amazon regardless of which one I hit.
