MKC with Miami flavor

Yesterday evening we were on our way to meet some friends for dinner in downtown Miami when we came upon a marketing event that Lincoln Motor Company had set up in Mary Brickell Village, basically in the center of everything hip. They had set up some signs, and since these are marketing experts, they were using the local language:

But much to their credit, they didn't attempt to translate the name of the promotion.

There was a line of people waiting to test drive the new MKX, the Navigator, and even an MKC Black Label (Black Tie with Center Stage theme).

We spoke to the reps there, and when we told them we had recently ordered a new MKC Black Label, they told us that they'd let us answer the "post test drive" survey so we could each get a $25 pre-paid Visa gift card. So naturally we did. Here's the happy couple after getting our two gift cards:

Nice. Thanks for the pics of the black tie black label. Haven't seen that one "in person" yet. Didn't realize the black seats not only had the red stitching but also the red in the seat bottoms and backs...and it almost looked sueded in comparison to the other black leather parts of the seat. It must have been a 2015 because the grille is chrome.

Nice, $50 probably got you a nice lunch! Getting cold here...wish I was in Miami :-). When we were looking at the MKC they had a date night promotion but we never did it because we went in to test drive late at night and were too lazy to do all the paperwork LOL. then for the next 2 months I thought I was buying another car so we never went back and took advantage. Ultimately I bought the MKC and we never did the date night. Pretty big promotion letting people take the cars for a day or two. Really gives you a chance to take your time with the car without a salesman hovering over you. Then they actually pay you $100 which buys a pretty decent dinner around here if you're not a big wine drinker! They really want people to get to know these cars intimately...now they gotta work on everything else post sale if they want anyone to stay.

We really enjoyed the Date Night event and thought it was a great way to really get to know the car before making a decision. For anyone thinking about an MKC I would certainly recommend they take advantage of the option.

Yes, just saw a BL MKC with Center Stage theme at the Orange County Auto Show and the seat inserts are a black perforated suede (alcantara) with a red base underneath. Quite striking. I think the other BL themes are all leather in the seating areas; CS is the only one with those inserts.

They also had a CS MKZ, which also features red leather trim on the sides of the floating console in front. Helps bring out the theme even more.

I had alcantra seats in my 2012 MKZ and I loved them! They wore very well and were comfortable, especially when cold! Unfortunately my MKC is the "standard" plush, soft, exceptional leather!

I have to say that I'm not overly impressed with the seats in that black label model.

Other than that this is really cool. Thanks for sharing and taking pictures and such.

Great marketing, seeing ads in an area like that helps to set the brands image right, better than them pushing ads just about everywhere... which is something better left to say... the Focus.
