I'm about to pull the trigger on an mkc

Is this a good deal?

8.65% under MSRP
1500 Rebate
0% Financing for 48 months

I purchased my MKC in July 2014 shortly after it went on sale for just a shade under MSRP. If it were me, I would take this deal and run. Great vehicle! Plan on keeping it for many years. Good luck.

Thanks for the input. On average we drive our cars for 10-13 years. We were thinking of going non-luxury class, but we've already become accustomed to comfy seating and a quiet, smooth ride which is what brought us to even look at the Lincoln.....well, besides the fact that she's a beauty.

We're not in any hurry and think the prices might fall in the summer so that is our only hesitation, but we thought the deal was pretty decent and perhaps we should just bite the bullet now.

The price will definitely fall in couple months when the announce the 2016 modle with all new Sync 3 in it. I am waiting and also considering the 2016 Acura RDX too.

Well, we did it; and she's a beauty.

We got the white titanium with white sands interior, 2.0 AWD with the select equipment package, the power liftgate, climate package, all-weather mats, and the reversible cargo mat.

Out the door it was a tad over $39,700. We put down $2000 (part of which was provided by Lincoln in the form of a rebate) and are financing the balance at 0% for (4) years.

You can get over 11% off MSRP. Don't let anyone tell you different!
DeMarco, MONICART and JefffromNH like this.

That sounds better than the A-plan. Can you share where that is available?

I hate to pin down the dealership for it would be unfair to them to have that over them. But it is a very large volume dealer. The hold backs that Lincoln has on the mkc has different levels depending on volume. We found over $4,000 difference.

Well, we didn't do that well, but ended up at 9% off MSRP (which included the salesman throwing in all weather mats and a reversible cargo mat to close the deal), plus 1500 cash back and 0% financing. I thought it was a decent deal, but yours would have been better.

We would have waited until the summer if current inventories had supported the availability of what we wanted without a lot of extra add-ons, but they don't. Since we don't buy cars but once a decade or more and usually buy certified-preowned, I had no clue whether the summer deals/incentives would absorb the extra cost of those unwanted and expensive add-ons: $1700 panoramic roof and/or $995 THX stereo and/or $1100 2.3L engine and/or needless towing packages, etc.

Now that is great to know, didn't think there was much to get off of MSRP... maybe try going after 15% off
