Strangely, Lincoln hasn't requested my doing a video review along, maybe, Big Sur, nor did they ask me to race the MKC in competition . . Go figure!!
Do know, it's sleek, it's comfy, it "plays nice" with my iPhone, & it's a kick to drive!
Seat AC works well & general car cool down is very fast . . a deal-breaker for me.
Ride not silent, but very quiet . . low volume audiobooks @ highway speeds, no problem.
Bluetooth is awesome! Initially, had problem switching back to Bluetooth from Sirius, but, after repairing 2x's, no problem. SYNC system fine, in general, except for annoying volume discrepancy in modes.
USB used only once, but worked quite well indexing a 64gb iPhone in, maybe, 2mins. Did not require re-indexing when reconnected after 30min break.
Navigation better than expected once I discovered the Sync Destinations app.
Steering wheel controls, fine; voice ctrl & cruise ctrls took couple days to familiarize.
Technology pkg much more useful than expected.
Love the kick ctrl liftgate, expanded moonroof, auto-folding mirrors, shelf in glovebox. Initially, didn't like cup holders as too small for sports koozie . . .but insulated bottle fits fine & with koozie on top keeps ice even better.
Quick acceleration for passing . . cornering, OK. Find have to take one exit ramp slower . . might be transitioning from small sedan to SUV. Trying Sports Mode, next.
Gas for the first 1,000 was 24.7MPG . . Like the capless system.
Some things, initially, thought not working (welcome mat, auto-folding mirrors, kick liftgate) are auto disabled under certain conditions or do not activate unless other conditions met. Also, was very concerned when 2fobs wouldn't show the keyless code, but that was solved when away from the garage where there's an apparent conflict with the garage door opener.
So . . . In case you missed it, I kinda like my new car . You guys like yours?
