Lincoln music selfie experiment website - pretty cool tool

These days it's hard for a website to make my say, "Hey, that's pretty cool." But the Lincoln music selfie experiment is one of those sites. It's introduced in this 30 second youtube video:

https://youtu.be/yz1vMHakze0

They turn your face into music using some kind of facial-feature-to-musical-notes mapping algorithm.

Once you see the video, you can then go over to the Lincoln Music Selfie site and play with it:

Maybe a younger generation than I will actually use it, but I was still impressed.

And speaking of videos, if you haven't seen Lincoln's "The More Human Side of Engineering" videos, I think they're worth a look.

I don't even remember. But my first instinct was similar to yours—I sent the link to my niece.

At any rate, the site popped up again today in another search I was doing. I've collected a number of 'contact people' at Lincoln for I-don't-know-why and one of those people is Vanessa Bohlshceid. She was mentioned in some Lincoln article. One of the hits on her name search was:

https://media.ford.com/content/linco...xperiment.html

So, small world, she turns out to be at least partly responsible for putting that out.
