RPM Gauge Jumps at Startup

When I start my 2015 MKC in the morning, the RPM gauge jumps back and forth from 850 rpm to 1500 rpm at no motion and I feel a slight jerk. After driving the car for a few minutes, it stops and the car is fine. 14,200 miles. Any ideas..

Is this after a recent fillup? Are you using a top tier fuel?

The dealer has resolved my issue with the RPM gauge jumping on startup.

It was a bad coil.

Car drives great now and it is very quiet.
