Hello,

We just bought a 2017 MkC Reserve, 4WD, Velvet Black / Ebony, loaded up. Being shipped from a dealership in Bloomington, MN for the wife. Our dealership gave us a 2016 MkC Select FWD to drive until the other one arrives. Liking everything so far except the way Sync 3 handles text messages with our phones (looks like a not uncommon issue from other forums).

This is only my 2nd Lincoln, 1st was a 2004 LS that I traded for my Explorer. We went with the MkC over the Audi Q5.

Congrats on the 2017. Regarding my 2016 with Sync 3 and text messages I have no issues with my IPhone.

Just took delivery of my 2017 today (Reserve 4WD Midnight Sapphire / Cappuccino). Loving it. Text messages working just fine for me so far (iPhone 6S+)

Someone pop the champagne!!!~~ Congrats guys on beautiful choices...did you guys go with the 2.3 engine?
Don't forget, the green button in the glove compartment is for fresh squeezed OJ ( comes out chilled)....pressing the blue button next to it will deliver crushed ice in your glass,Lincoln rocks!!! heh~

Came in on Thursday and we had it delivered on Friday. The General Manager at our dealer arranged for it to be delivered to a restaurant to surprise my wife. They even paid for dinner. When the check came, the key was with it. They had it parked out front with a big bow on it. Best delivery experience ever.

Happy to report that the 2017 Sync 3 software handles our phones perfectly. The 2.3T is awesome. Way more power than is actually needed. It moves. Love the mobile app. Still exploring all the features of the car.

Black Velvet with the 20" Ebony Painted Pocket wheels is sharp looking.

That sounds truly incredible! It sounds like the dealer went above and beyond to help make the experience unforgettable. Also paying for dinner, very nice touch. I can only hope when I make my decision (soon, fingers crossed) that I will receive a similar treatment. If only all dealership experiences could have this outcome I am convinced more people would buy a Lincoln :laugh

Best,
Doris

A lot of it has to do with " first impressions" most dealers are laying the ground work for a pleasant relationship with a buyer....it's the easiest and best way to secure future business from customers....when you think about the implications, picking up a dinner tab for a dinner for two that just dropped a wad of $$$$ on a new car is a small investment on the part of ANY dealer trying to secure future purchases!....by any means, it's a nice touch and feels personal and appreciated.
