Anyone know what the minimun offset is for the 18" wheels? I found the stock offset is 52mm and I am looking to get some winter wheels but don't want to mess around with spacers and all that.

Thanks

I would be interested in this also. I've been looking at purchasing new 18" wheels and a lot of the ones i'm looking at have 42mm and 45mm offsets. I'm not a wheel expert so I'm not sure if the offset will matter.

While a dealer or parts manager might be able to dig up the spec on the existing wheels, I doubt they will commit to anything other than that exact offset. You might chat with a competent aftermarket wheel dealer like Tire Rack.

It does and does not matter the offset keeps the rim from touching the brakes and keeps the tires from hitting anything on the car when you turn.

If the aftermarket rim's offset is not enough it can be adjusted with spacers, if to much offset the tire can poke out from under the fenders.

I found this site that shows what the impact is if you change the offset:
