So, not that the transmission has ever been completely smooth but it's become obvious over the past few weeks that my transmission is making a good shudder occasionally when going from gear to gear. It seems completely random as to which gear, whether car is warmed up, etc. I'm a pretty frequent user of Sport mode. And I even had my drive settings so that normal "D" was comfort mode for a while. ANyone experience this had have a resolution? I'm at 74k miles.

That was my first thought. Google also shows me that it may be a faulty shift solenoid. I was under the car yesterday to change the oil and it looks like it's not a fun job to drain and refill the transmission. Not that it ever is on any car...

I'm I diehard DIY, but auto transmission fluid changes is one I take to someone to do. To do it right requires a fluid exchange (not a flush!), it's easier to just pay the $90 to a shop that has the proper equipment. It was at about that many miles that the one car needed a fluid change. It can't hurt and it's cheaper than messing with solenoid first.

True. I've just done multiple drain/fills in the past, trying to get as much oil fluid out as possible. I don't have time for that anymore, lol! I'm just wondering if a good oil change place can do this without screwing things up. I'm not really friends with my service advisor since I got stranded on the side of the road and couldn't change my flat thanks to those stupid lug nut caps. I called and left a pretty angry message on their voicemail and never got a callback, lol!

I would also check for TSBs (software updates) since its a 2015.

Yeah, there are a couple of TSBs dated to 2014 about hard shifting and noise. No idea if they are relevant.

Only your dealer will know -
