I don't know about doubling total brand sales. Lincoln moved 81,694 vehicles in 2013, MKZ moved 32,361 of those. I just dont know if MKC can seriously move 80K units. I'd love to see it don't get me wrong but I think 50,000 units is a more realistic target.
Yea, 80k is a pretty lofty number. I think that 50k is more realistic, but even 60k could be possible. I do think that the MKC is going to surpass expectations, so if it sold a ton I wouldn't be too too surprised.
Yeah, I don't think 80K is realistic. 50K is probably more like it, though I am beginning to wonder if the sales will really exceed expectations after all. The back seat seems to be a deal killer (as witnessed by a couple of forum posters here) for some. It's not an issue for me, but probably will be for many. Too bad they couldn't have squeaked out another inch or two back there; if they could have, I think these vehicles would be flying out of the showrooms.
No matter how you look at it the MKC has a ton more rear leg room then my C-5 :)

funny guy ;):D:p
I got to see the MKC at an auto show and sit in it and everything but I didn't get in the back seat. I didn't notice any problems with space from my experience with it though. It may be a slight flaw but hardly a killer for their sales.
