That is the information I am looking to find out. The sub in the rear quarter panel does have a separate amp, I had the panel off a while ago to get at the headliner to fix the rear window washer line that had fallen off, and ultimately sprayed fluid inside this panel. I fear the moister may have deteriorated the sub. So as I look into a new sub and or amp I would like to find if it is speaker or line level going to the rear amp, what the color codes for those wires are... Power, ground + - etc. so I can make an intellegent purchase/upgrade to the system. Depending on the amp specs I may be able to get buy with just purchasing a new sub, but want to be sure I get one compatible aka the correct ohm rating and single or dual voice coil. I dont want to have to open the panel over and over because as we all know the more times you do the more apt you are to get loose fit and rattles. Even if I did, typically factory parts are poor at best as far as labeling electronic specs on the parts.
This information is fairly easy to find on other models so am hopeful someone has come up with the answers on this forum as I have not been able to locate it.
