Hello,

I'm looking at my next car since my current lease is up soon. I notice that there are some dealers that have 2015's still available. I notice on edmunds.com it says there is a lease incentive available. Is it still possible to lease 2015 cars?

Also, how much of a price discount should I look for on these models? Most of them are the reserve package with just about all options.

Thanks!

Well, my suggestion is: do due diligence and based on the build date, you'd be able to determine weather you want to get a 2015 MKC....some have had issues with that model year, others not so much....my 2016 so far has been stellar, little nags here and there, but nothing I'd loose sleep over...

2015 Lincoln MKC

I ordered in advance an early 2015 Lincoln MKC all wheel drive (was rec'd about 2 years ago), and other than the recall on the location of the shifting buttons, have had no issues of any kind. I had a little trouble with the Navigation displaying my location to the right side of the road, which I solved permanently by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes - this was described in an earlier post. I get a combined average of 24.5 miles per gallon and the car has plenty of power - even more in the "S" (sport) mode. In my opinion the car is very dependable quiet, and trouble free. I like the feature of no gas cap and also that such a fine car can be operated on regular fuel.

I am thinking of ordering a new 2017 MKC or MKX, but if either looks identical to the 2015, why trade? I am hoping for a design change soon. I guess the new Sync 3 is a little more user friendly than the 2015, but in the meantime, I have figured it out. Compared to the Navigation system offered by Mercedes or Audi, almost anything is easy to operate.

Today I saw a few 2017 MKZs with the new grille at the local dealership, which is a nice change, but the grille from the previous Lincolns is also very attractive. I am also anxious to see the new Continental, but I do not like the big ugly wheels on the proto-types.

Thanks. Really, the MKC and the MKZ check every single one of my "wants" Nothing else really compares in terms of features and technology. The leftovers I see are the AWD versions with the 2.3L engine. I don't need AWD but if the discounts make it worth it then i'd definitely consider it.

Hi Aerogel, When I was shopping for mine, dealers here in Calgary also had some 2015's on the lot they wanted to get rid of. Discounts were around $9000 off the sticker for a 2.3L AWD
