Completely satisfied. 3,800 miles and zero issues. Will be taking it to Florida from Ohio in a few weeks. We'll see how it goes...

The reason I ask this question is that I have ordered an MKC 6 weeks ago and getting worried that I may have made a mistake. I can always refuse delivery.

I certainly have some problems. Maybe I am a sucker, but I still have high hopes the Lincoln will iron everything out. I have been driving Ford products almost exclusively for over 35 years now. As has my Wife. Sure there have been rough spots but the local service centers around me always seem to figure it out.

I would not be concerned... take delivery and enjoy it. There will always me "Monday Cars", Lemons etc. Does not matter whether you by a Q5, X3, NX etc. It happens. It seems more prevalent here because folks with NO problems, rarely seek out communities such as these to voice there glee.

What color did you get, what options?

Very nice, I really like that Ruby Red... I was very torn between it and what I got. In actuality... my choice was more based on options and what was a reasonable distance for a dealer locate.

I still have not seen an MKC on the road yet, of course other then mine. But when I see that Ruby Red in pictures... it looks way more fun the my white. Although I am uber paranoid of the men with Radar Guns. For some reason ever since I was a kid, it was ground in that Red cars get more tickets... draw more attention.

I remember years ago actually reading a survey or some statistics that proved otherwise. The new color that seemed to draw more attention was Grey/Silver (or at least that what it was... heck my luck its probably white these days!).

Take pictures when you get it and post it. I know another Member recently posted photos of his Ruby Red... very nice. What wheels did you get?

Just the 18" (unless it accidently comes in with 19") Do you think bigger is better?
Close to 10,000 miles since August of 2014, and 0 problem (with the exception of the SiriusXM occasional signal drops).
I got 19" and just went through Chicago snowstorm without any issue. Of course, you will not go straight for potholes, and you will not be racing in snow like it was a rally field in your luxury car.
Bob - I have the Ruby Red too. I love it and had two Lexus before. The serice is not as good as lexus, but that serice is unbelievable.

I think you'll just love it.Many people have stopped and gazed at it where I have it parked every day.

Good luck.

3,500 miles and aside from a few XM drops .... has handled beautifully with zero issues!
6500 miles and and really just the GPS occasionally losing position accuracy. Nothing that detracts from the joy of ownership, not have I scheduled a service visit yet.
Ingot Silver 2.0 Reserve now at 5230 miles. Towed boat from coast, carried roof box up and down Eastern seaboard at the Holidays. No problems. Other than the training I needed for the depth of features and menus on this vehicle.
Finally saw another on the Interstate yesterday in oncoming lane. It really does have a distinctive profile.

This is a highly debated topic. There are trade offs. Bigger typically equals less side wall flex and more wheel weight. But guys like the bigger wheels because they may fill out the wheel well better or just look sportier.

Less side wall in the crappy road, winter environments could mean easier wheel damage, and potentially a rougher/firmer ride.

The upside about 18s is tire replacement will be cheaper, the ride "should" be a little better and the chance of damaging a wheel in a bad pothole should be minimal.

For me if I liked the look... I would not worry about what the size is. When I had my 2012 Limited Edge... I had 20s on it... but picked up some cheap 18s to run for winter with some Blizzak winter tires on them. I could tell a difference in the ride, and the 18s were more compliant to the rough roads we had last winter with all the low temps. They were a mess (still are).

Pure luxury

Have purchased my white Reserve 2.0 with 19" wheels in October 2014. Have 1800 mi on it and consider it the best drive ever. My last Lincolns were MKZ and before that a LS
No problems and the way it handles is great.. So Far , so good.

Enjoy your MKC.
8500 miles on our 2.0 reserve. The only issue we had was with approach lighting, which suddenly stopped working. A trip to the dealer and they had a TSB on it and it was fixed with a software update. Watching this forum I feel a little lucky I haven't had Sirius XM or electrical issues (yet).
Three months and 3,000 miles, no problems. I was even quite pleased driving around during our areas 3rd largest single snow fall of all recorded time. Hey the snow fills in those pot holes! I did learn, I needed to which to front defrost, to keep the windows clear, but that's normal in any vehicle during a blizzard. What I would expect of a small SUV AWD Luxury vehicle! The more I get to drive it the more I like it. No disappointments.

No Problemos

We have only had it a few months, no bugs, so we are happy. Hope it is as trouble free as our '04 Marauder & '11 Flex.
