I went to the casino on Saturday & Parked my MKC at the end of the lot & in the far corner.
When i came out there was a SUV parked next to me & when got there i saw a MKC right next to mine & no other cars around.
He must have trusted me to park right next to me with a empty lot to choose from.
Where does everyone park on Parking lot's to protect from Ding's ?

My car has 150k on it, so I park wherever. Unless the family is with me I'm the guy who will wedge in next to the giant SUV that's on the line if it means I'm right at the door. Now if I had an MKC I'd be more cautious...and I don't think I could resist parking right next to anther one.

MKC's remain a rare breed, I've still only had one siting that I wasn't even 100% sure on. I've seen more Macans than MKCs, which I wouldn't have guessed.

A Macan dense neighborhood sounds terribly Teutonic.
I don't park next to dinged hulks OR 2 door coupes that have door heavier than little drivers can control. Most have them have rotted off the road ( Camaros and Fireboids)

Funny you should mention the rarity of our beloved MKC's. I've owned mine since July 21st and in spite of traveling up and down the east coast, I have yet to see one - and I've been watching closely.

I was driving on I-5 in NorCal the other day and spotted what looked like a white MKC in front of me (I was almost 100% sure is was either that or an MKX, but since I'm just a lurker wasn't sure I really knew anything for sure). I managed to catch up in traffic and yes, it was an MKC. It is the first I've seen on the road.

I'm in Phoenix and have only seen one on the road before I bought mine.
I've already gotten a ding, passenger side rear door, my husbands dealership (not Lincoln) pulled it out for me, lol. I'm careful about where I park too, not sure where or when but wasn't happy at all! I tend to park far out or at the end and hug the cement bumper so there is more room on the other side. Next to disabled parking is good too because its wider.

There is a fair amount here in SE MI. As it is rare for any new vehicle model to be spotted around the Metro area. If out for around an hour I will see 1-2 others on the road or parked. A few weeks ago, I had asked my wife had she seen any lately as she is out much more than I. Her reply was none in the pasted few days. So, I asked her to come to the front door, one parked in the street a few homes away.

It's funny in NJ I only seen about 5 on the road since they were launched. I like driving a car that isn't all over the road. I still get a lot of stares and comments.
