Automatic hi-beams

Last night while traveling on a 2 lane country road with no streetlights, I got a chance to try the automatic hi- beams and they worked flawlessly. I was surprised that the bright reflection from the speed limit signs didn't turn off the hi- beams.

The camera did a great job of sensing oncoming vehicles and immediately turned them off.

Again, another great use of technology that works like its supposed to.

Agree 100%. These are the best auto-beam headlights I've ever experienced. They have performed flawlessly for me so far.
Just picked mine up last night.
Did not get to play much with it yet, but the auto high beams is one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

Its going to be like a heated steering wheel, which I thought was stupid the first time I had one, but now wonder how I ever lived without it!:laugh
I must be in the minority on this one. I am debating turning this feature off. I often find that they are coming on at odd times, like driving around town, and then they are blinding any cars that are not coming directly in the opposite lane, like perpendicular at an intersection, or they will stay on sometimes when I'm on a highway / interstate and will not always dim when there are cars opposite to me.

Worst was probably when I was driving around a traffic circle and there was a police car waiting to enter the cicle, and I noticed too late that my brights were on as I drove around the circle and shined them in his eyes.
No problems with my auto hi-beams. They work like a charm

Have auto hi beams on my wife's MKS, but not on my MKX !
My wife just LOVES this feature, the only drawback on the MKS is
that they will not operate automatically if the fog lights are turned on.
Did this change on the MKC ?

There is no on/off switch for the fog lights, they're automatic. Not really sure what prompts them to come on! Wish there was a manual control.
