I don't know if you guys discuss such things here, but this is the first car I cared to keep clean and I happen to be here looking for other stuff. The first car wash I went though turned the black trim into a striped gray/black mess. I tried armorall, which didn't help much. What should I be using on the plastic trim to keep it black? I found things on the web like trim restorer, it just seem strange to use restorer on a new car. (sorry for my car care ignorance)

There may have been an additive in the car wash water like a wax or something similar. It may just require a good cleaning.
