I recently had my independent mechanic install a Draw-Tite hitch and the Ford/Lincoln OEM Trailer Tow Wiring Kit FT1Z-15A416-A on my 2018 MKC Reserve 2.3T AWD. (Photo below).

I chose that hitch because I wanted a 1-1/4" receiver, cutting the lower valence was not required, and it cost 40% less than the OEM hitch. I chose the OEM wiring kit because I've had issues with aftermarket harnesses in other cars with modern CAN Bus wiring.

As you can see from the attached photo, the OEM wiring kit terminates with a 4 pole connector.

I would appreciate suggestions on how to best mount that connector. There are various inexpensive aftermarket brackets. (Photos below). I would like to have it look as integrated/finished as possible. (I wish Lincoln offered a replacement valance with an integrated socket like the current Ford Explorer)

Thanks in advance for any help!
