Back in the day, Cadillac and Lincoln battled each other for dominance in the domestic car market. Oh, how times have changed though. Cadillac has gone on record no to say that it no longer considers Lincoln to be a direct competitor in today's market.
As if to put salt in the wound, Cadillac vice president of global design Ed Wellburn said "I don't consider them a competitor. Are they a competitor for Buick? Quite possibly. But not for Cadillac," he told Car & Driver.
Do you think that a Lincoln is closer to a Buick than a Cadillac now? Is Cadillac just underestimating Lincoln?
