Was just readying this article, and thought I'd share: wondering if the slip comes in the heels of negative publicity....like I said in an earlier post, unhappy customers can wreck havoc with ANY brand!
– November 2015 YTD Sales: up 28.2% to 5,885 – Ford’s lone remaining premium brand must rely on SUVs and crossovers to ignite interest, because the brand’s two current sedans accomplish next to nothing in Canada. The MKS and MKZ sedans are down 22 percent to only 1,203 year-to-date sales. Unfortunately, Lincoln doesn’t sell many SUVs and crossovers, and the newest nameplate in the mix, the MKC, is showing signs of regression early on in its tenure. (MKC sales slid 23 percent between August and November.) The second-generation MKX is perhaps the greater hope. Sales of the MKX are up 71 percent during the same period.
