This is kind of a useless post. Nobody is clairvoyant about the hundreds of codes that can pop up the CE light. Either go to the dealer for a code scan or pick one up at your local parts store.

Welcome to the forum,

Autozone, Advance Auto, O'Reilly Auto parts, all ,(in my area) will do a quick code read for you.

Then you know where the problem is , and take to mechanic of choice for repair, or buy the part needed.

Yes, you got to do a code read.

If the code is tripped by an emissions control component it may be covered under warranty depending on mileage and service date

Get forscan software and a obdlink MX and check it yourself. :) Since the development of OBDII the check engine light will tell you nothing without a scan tool. A flashing check engine light on an OBDII system usually means misfire but on solid light could mean a myriad of different things.
