I have a 2018 MKC Reserve, that is really nice, and I really like it a lot.
No real problems at all.
Averaging all around 27 mpg.

BUT....
My better half complains that it is tight quarters (once in 2 months) when we haul a few grandkids, or another couple goes with us to eat out ...or whatever.

I agree it's a little cramped in the back seat for full grown adults.
We may have someone in back seat , once a month , maybe.

She spotted a Nautilus, and is dropping hints about trading.
Heck the MKC is only 10 months old.
To me, the Nautilus is just a slightly larger MKC....same everything else.

Can anyone here help her by convincing me to trade to Nautilus or MKX.
Is it really that much of an advantage?

I am open minded .

I'm just a newb here, but I can tell you that with my wife, the trade in value of the 10-month-old MKC would be enough to convince her to keep it. My wife is about as frugal as they come...YMMV. :wink

That , very well may be the deciding point for my wife also.
I'm sure we would take a beating.

Well throw a hook in the water. Go list the MKC for sale on FB or similar location for a price that would get you to switch to the bigger vehicle.
On a side note: If I have a few guests I take my Altima. (less luxury but more space)

Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't even think about trading just for a little more room for occasional backseat guests...no matter who they may be. If the back seat of the MKC isn't roomy or good enough for them, they can take their own vehicle.
