I hope yall don't get tired of me asking questions,

But some things , I just can't find in the manual.

First question,
Why does the horn blow, when I press the center button on the steering wheel to reset the fuel economy display ?
That might upset the guy in front of me at the stop light.
What am I doing wrong?

Second question,
When I exit and enter the car , the seat and steering wheel , move away and move back as they should.
But, when my wife exits , the easy exit system does not operate.

What am I doing wrong?

The horn does not blow on my MKC when I reset the fuel economy or the trip 1&2 so not sure why yours does.

Does your wife use her own key with the Mykey setup? If so, then perhaps she has the settings for easy entry/exit turned off?

Neither one of us are using MyKey setup.

But I think I'm gong to setup both of us on Mykey , to see what happens then.


That horn honking has got to be eliminated, I don't like that.
It also blws when I reset the Trip Odo.

I'd say there is a problem in the steering wheel if the horn blows when resetting the trip odometer.
