So I added a custom cat-back exhaust to my MKC. Its a totally new machine. Its smoother (not that it wasn't Smooth before) Very nice engine note and noticeably faster.

Let me know if you guys want me to post a video of how it sounds if anyone interested.

Sorry custom as in I went to a weld shop had them pro weld a new exhaust to the car. I would post a video oh how it sounds tonight after work. However I wish I could show you guys how it now drives. D is now like Sport mode and Sport mode is a little too much. This definitely is the mustang engine made free again. The sound is beautiful not loud and annoying but honestly "almost" like the Jeep SRT8

Yea would love to see how it looks and sounds. "Almost" like the Jeep SRT8 is a pretty good accolade. I've been in one of those before, and they are exciting.

Carey could we ask you to post the MKC specs- most of us are putting it in our signature line with the build date. I assume you have the 2.3.
Did your exhaust shop increase the diameter of the pipes as well as swapping out for what muffler - Flowmaster?

They Kept the same Diameter. They swapped out the old muffler for a flowmaster and they removed the Resonator. Funny that you knew it was a flow master. I paid $350 for the job. Its been 2 weeks with it and the car is now amazing minus the transmission that I still hate. Video coming later

It's a lease. But I saved the parts. Would be like 60 bucks to put them back. Took it in for 10k maintenance today and the service guy who drove it around kept smiling. He calls it the MKC-R. They should probably use that lol

I wouldn't mind a Borla S on my MKC...love the sound they produce with ZERO drone...It's what I have on the Mustang GT and it rocks!....had that replaced within the first 100 km of owing it, still have the original mufflers it came with too,god knows for what LOL....my wife keeps bugging me to get rid of them LOL they are in MY garage,women,gotta luv em!
The stock mufflers I sprayed with a thin layer of WD40, then wrapped them up in plastic, and stored them....opened them up just to check if they could use some more WD40, but they were just fine,still look brand new....if anyone wants them, I'm asking $5,000 each or both for $9,000...............< Kiddin guys!!!
