Had the door latch recall done today and when I finally realized it, the auto door FOB unlock feature wasn't working anymore. I checked the settings and all unlock/lock are checked off.

Dealer now wants the car back thinking it might have something to do with the new latch.

is there anything else I can check to see if I can reprogram the FOB or does it have to do back to the dealer?

MKC is a 2015

Not other info on work order.

Had my 2015 MKC door latches replaced not long ago.
No problem with fob lock or unlock function when used.
Is that your problem?

Correct. Prior to the latch being replaced when approaching the car the lights would go on and the door would unlock as I grabbed the handle.

Now after the latch replacement....nothing with the door opening as before.

They told her that it was just an adjustment. (no paperwork)

Aren't those functions supposed to be turned ON in the settings? Why are they all turned OFF?
