Floor mats?

In the Northeast we get lots of crappy weather. I checked weather tech and the want 118.00 when you get done with shipping and tax.
Anyone else have a better solution?? I don't mind rain... but slush-snow-salt makes a mess on the rugs.

you gotta pay for the best, you squabbling over $118 for a 40K + vehicle?

No... I spend more than that for little chrome pieces for my Harley. What I'm saying is I don't mind spending the money, for something worth the money. I was asking for options....better quality..not finding something cheaper.
But thanks for your informative post.
Nothing protects quite like Weather Tech's. I went to Pep boys, bought thick carpeted mats, put them in the MKS & MKX absorbs snow melting, and dries up, no puddles on the floor mats.
Joe, so your saying the ones you got at Pep Boys work well?
We had the Weather Tech digital mats in our C-Max, and now in the MKC. They are great--the best mats we ever have had. I wouldn't bother with other brands now.

I went ahead and got the MKC all weather floor mats and cargo mat. I have lots of generally good experience with Weather Tech mats (both the "ribbed" version and the more flat liners) in four previous vehicles.

The reason that I got the mats from Lincoln was that I wasn't sure if Weather Tech would have their mats perfectly sized for the MKC. I had a bit of a disappointment with Weather Tech on a 2011 Buick Lacrosse about 4 years ago (had to trim to size). That was my only hiccup with them. I had seen the Lincoln mats in a demo MKC, liked how they fit and looked, and decided to go that route. They won't hold a quart of water, but I'll just kick most the snow of my shoes and I think they'll do fine. I really like the look of the rear cargo mat, with a good looking MKC logo.

I just noticed that my window sticker says optional equipment, a/w flr mats DLR installed ACCY and cost is $90.

Well I didnt get them have carpet mats. Should I have both sets ?

Kenny
did you order them? If so the dealer probably has them as they are a dealer installed option.

If you paid for them, of course.
After I took delivery and had some issues with the service dept my dealer took them out of another MKC and gave them to me! Maybe the same happened to yours.:wink
There's a seller on eBay sells the OEM Lincoln all weather mats for about 1/3 less than the dealer price. Got mine thru him.

Yes just an over sight, you will have both sets. The All Weather come in their own box shipped to the parts dept with your VIN on the box, but any box will do as their all the same. We all overlooked them on the nite of delivery also. Just stop in, see your saleman and let him/her know you did not get them at time of delivery.
Thanks for the responses , I'll check with the dealer.

I also did not get my "all weather" floor mats. I guess I thought the carpeted mats were the ones I paid extra for? Duh.. Well, I will be making my first trip back to my dealer tomorrow to collect the A W F mats.
I also see where the optional cargo mat is reversible. Need to check that out.

Can you post some pics? I'm planning to get the Weathertech but I'm curious if they fit well.

Gervinc, I have Weathertech floormats and they fit perfect and work perfect. The only issue I have is they are available for the front only and at about $120 with shipping. I have had mine since July and love them - very, very easy to clean.
I have contacted Weathertech about every 4-5 weeks since late July and although they say "they are coming soon", they haven't. I'll buy them when they are available, probably regardless of the price!

I got both sets, OEM and WeatherTech.

OEMs are OK: perfect fit. WeatherTech is just better.
My recommendation is WeatherTech front (set) with OEM rear (set) with original MKC logo.
