It shows your average fuel economy since the last reset. Reset it whenever you want to. The bar that moves up and down is the instantaneous economy, but has no numerical values.
Fuel Economy Gauge.
Driving on Turnpike the Fuel Economy gauge showed i was getting 23 mpg. which seemed low.
So i reset the gauge & it went up to 27mph.
Question is when should the gauge be RESET ????

So why is it there ?
To show your average mileage for a trip.
Reset it when on a trip, and after about 25 miles of highway driving, it will give a good average.
What is the White Bar ?
Sometimes it is below The Blue Line & other times it moves above the Blue Line.
Sometimes it is below The Blue Line & other times it moves above the Blue Line.
