Guessing it was a promo. I did receive a Lincoln keychain, but also know my salesman purchased them on his own and it wasn't from the dealer.
That's pretty awesome.Yes,when I was finished with all the paperwork and ready to leave, the sales manager did walk over with a white cardboard box in his hands. When I opened it in front of him he stated that it was a gift from lincoln with the purchase of a MKC. It was the wooden box you described. I thought this was a nice gesture since this was my first Ford/Lincoln product.
Let us know if you get one. I have a feeling that those who did got "leftovers".Good hear. I may have to ask whenever I pickup my license plates. Doesn't hurt to.
I got one when I purchased an MKZ in 2013. I did not get one when I purchased an MKZ in 2015. Same dealer, same salesman. I did get a $100 gift card from the dealer when I purchased the MKC - which I probably appreciated more than the box!Did anyone receive a Wooden gift box when they purchased their MKC?
My parents purchased a 2013 MKX a few years ago and they were give a nice wooden box that held their keys and contained a USB drive which was a nice touch and buying experience. Here is a link to a picture of one:

I did not get one and I bought mine from a different dealership. So I am curious if anyone got one with their MKC or if this was a limited time promo back then.
I bet the guys working behind the parts counter would know how much that box costs, they just might be the ones placing orders for them.I received one. My dealership is one of the largest in sales in Western Canada.
They told me the box was a cost to them.
Is it possible some dealers opted out to save a few bucks ?
they may have the boxes in their house:eekI bet the guys working behind the parts counter would know how much that box costs, they just might be the ones placing orders for them.
