Did anyone receive a Wooden gift box when they purchased their MKC?

My parents purchased a 2013 MKX a few years ago and they were give a nice wooden box that held their keys and contained a USB drive which was a nice touch and buying experience. Here is a link to a picture of one:

I did not get one and I bought mine from a different dealership. So I am curious if anyone got one with their MKC or if this was a limited time promo back then.

Guessing it was a promo. I did receive a Lincoln keychain, but also know my salesman purchased them on his own and it wasn't from the dealer.

Nope. I think if anyone had received a gift from Lincoln, they would have mentioned it by now.

I did receive a fancy package that held a fancy brochure picturing various Lincoln cars. It all went into the recycle bin except for a little black pamphlet titled 'Introducing the Lincoln Pledge'.

Yes,when I was finished with all the paperwork and ready to leave, the sales manager did walk over with a white cardboard box in his hands. When I opened it in front of him he stated that it was a gift from lincoln with the purchase of a MKC. It was the wooden box you described. I thought this was a nice gesture since this was my first Ford/Lincoln product.

That's pretty awesome.

I think more car makers should do things like this, especially ones like Lincoln that are at a turning point for their brand.

Good hear. I may have to ask whenever I pickup my license plates. Doesn't hurt to.

Let us know if you get one. I have a feeling that those who did got "leftovers".

It is possible they may be "leftovers". My dealership is one of the largest in the region so that may be why.

Those who got theirs was your dealership one of the smaller less big selling ones?

I got one when I purchased an MKZ in 2013. I did not get one when I purchased an MKZ in 2015. Same dealer, same salesman. I did get a $100 gift card from the dealer when I purchased the MKC - which I probably appreciated more than the box! :)

Received nothing in October when I took MKC delivery.
Shame, because my wife still remembers Lincoln gifting us a wine glass when we took delivery of our LS in 2000.

I received one. My dealership is one of the largest in sales in Western Canada.
They told me the box was a cost to them.
Is it possible some dealers opted out to save a few bucks ?

I bet the guys working behind the parts counter would know how much that box costs, they just might be the ones placing orders for them.

they may have the boxes in their house:eek
My dealer is mid size probably but sales area covers a large area. Earlier this year they had probably 30 MKC's on the lot or in transit

We did not receive a box or any other gift with our MKC but didn't expect one either. We did get a good price and have had an amicable relationship with our dealer, and most importantly, our MKC has been trouble-free.

Nope, no gift box when I bought my MKC last August and no gift box when I bought the MKZ Hybrid New Years Eve, No gift box when I bought my 2012 MKZ Hybrid........
I did receive a pair of champagne flutes when I bought my first Lincoln - 2000 LS! Still have 'em.
WOW! If they had kept up the tradition, I could have had a full set by now!
