Hello. I been research and test drive SUVs for the last half years and finally brought(lease) a new MKC three weeks ago.

Here is my car:
MSRP:$45925
Midnight Sapphire/White sand
Reserved group
+Cont cntrl damping suspension
+THX upgraded sound
+19" wheels
+Technology pack
+Climate pack
+Cargo mat

It has all the upgrades other than engine and AWD. I basically need a MKC with CCD, white sand, and panoramic roof, and I been told there was only one MKC in the west coast met my requirement. So I brought this one.

Since I am not sure about the resale value on MKC, I decided to do a 3 year pre-pay lease on it. Price wise, I got an offer based on invoice price-$2750 rebate. There was some additional fees for leasing including interest, so after 3 days of negotiation, I knocked another $3100 off. I end up trade my 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5S in, and walked off with one time payment of $5470 for a 3 years lease. Since it involved trade in, rebate and leasing fees including interest, the price was so complicated. My estimation was that the final price was $7000-$9000 off MSRP depending how you calculate it. That's about 15-19.5% off MSRP. Since it's a lease, the residual value was fixed, so all the saving were on the first 3 years, which made this a better deal for me.

So far, I love this SUV. The only two thing I am disappointed were the slow SYNC system including navigation, and the satellite radio sometime lost signal.

It's crazy you were able to take those pictures with one that looks like it was taken in the desert and the other that was taken in the mountains.

The price that you got is great. Congrats on that. And the MKC, as usual, looks really good.

Thanks guys. Yea, I took one picture in Kings Canyon and another in Death Valley. Soon after I got the car, I took it for a road trip from Bay Area to Vegas. Btw, really like the adaptive cruise control in this SUV. It made long distance freeway driving much easier.

The good look on this car was the major reason I chose MKC. Before I saw a MKC in person, my first choice was Lexus NX. But when the first time walked into a Lincoln dealer, I saw this car parked in front of sales room, and I just love how it looks. Later I visited 3 Lincoln dealer to search a MKC that met all my requirement (CCD, roof, and color), they all pointed back to this car and told me there was only one MKC in the West Coast met all my requirement. Did I mention this MKC was parked in a Lincoln dealership 3 minutes away from my home? I guess this car was meant to be mine.

Welcome to the forum. Your car is a beauty!!

Yes, finding FWD with CCD is very rare. We would have done a test drive on one if we could have found one. We ended up buying AWD because it comes with CCD and the ride seemed to be a little smoother than FWD (without CCD).

Since MKC is a luxury vehicle, I think the Lincoln CCD suspension should be standard equipment on all of them. I can't believe there are so few FWD with it.

Are you planning to get a paint protection treatment done? There's a product called opti-coat that i've notice a lot of guys getting applied to their new vehicles.

Yea, for little over $600, CCD bring MKC's handling to the next level. It's the best upgrade for the money and should be standard on all MKC. MKC would receive better reviews for improved handling.

As for paint protection, no, this car is a three years lease.

Looks like Lincoln should take your advice :D

It's quite possible that with future year models we can expect them to do this as they seek ways to hook buyers in.
