Well, I guess I posted in the wrong section (intro), so I just redo it here.
Hello. I been research and test drive SUVs for the last half years and finally brought(lease) a new MKC three weeks ago.
Here is my car:
MSRP:$45925
Midnight Sapphire/White sand
Reserved group
+Cont cntrl damping suspension
+THX upgraded sound
+19" wheels
+Technology pack
+Climate pack
+Cargo mat
It has all the upgrades other than engine and AWD. I basically need a MKC with CCD, white sand, and panoramic roof, and I been told there was only one MKC in the west coast met my requirement. So I brought this one.
Since I am not sure about the resale value on MKC, I decided to do a 3 year pre-pay lease on it. Price wise, I got an offer based on invoice price-$2750 rebate. There was some additional fees for leasing including interest, so after 3 days of negotiation, I knocked another $3100 off. I end up trade my 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5S in, and walked off with one time payment of $5470 for a 3 years lease. Since it involved trade in, rebate and leasing fees including interest, the price was so complicated. My estimation was that the final price was $7000-$9000 off MSRP depending how you calculate it. That's about 15-19.5% off MSRP. Since it's a lease, the residual value was fixed, so all the saving were on the first 3 years, which made this a better deal for me.
So far, I love this SUV. The only two thing I am disappointed were the slow SYNC system including navigation, and the satellite radio sometime lost signal.
