Hi. New member here from the KC area. I just bought a new '15 Reserve Fwd in Ruby Red last week. We drove to Salina, KS (180 mi) to pick it up. It was a heck of a deal, and they gave me > KBB Excellent Trade-In value on my '14 Edge. I liked the Edge, it was just very basic in terms of options. I actually prefer the seats in the Edge. The MKC is loaded with everything: Tech package, THX, etc.
I really like the MKC thus far. I've added front 20% tint, paint protection film on top of rear bumper, eFe Pro Dry S open-ended filter, screen protector, and the Lincoln cargo (slush) mat.
It appears I'll eventually need the modem recall -- as I have that message in the app. The hands-free liftgate seems pretty finicky -- works about 60-70% of the time with a kick. Any tricks here?
My last Lincoln was a '10 MKZ AWD Ultimate. I think THX sounded better in that car because the main speakers were in the door instead of dash. Bass response was also better.
