I have a 2017 MKC black label.
As I was working though some other issue I have, I learned there is a removable mechanical key, inside of my key fob.
My assumption is that the key is use to unlock the MKC when the fob has a dead battery.
My door handles don't have a slot for any key (that I can see anyway).
And I'm not smart enough to figure out how it (the mechanical key) is supposed to be used.
And, I can't seem to find anything in the users manual explaining this.
I did find a few videos but they were for Lincolns with key slots in their door handles.
Any idea how I would use the mechanical key on a Lincoln without a key slot in the door handles ?
