Considering your height and professionally needs, I would not want a MKC size vehicle of any manufacturer. As above, if you can wait for 2016 MKX to arrive, I'm sure you would be very well satisfied. If you must have something sooner, a very well optioned Grand Cherokee is a great choice for your needs. I passed on the MKX and SRX at that time. Only to dealer for oil changes and to satisfy those precautionary recalls.
MKC has 1,400 miles and so far we've had none of the problems some have experienced. I spent a lot of time looking and test driving and revisiting some higher priced vehicles, nothing else out there at this time that we would preferred to have.
