Silver Sands over White Sands. Ordered July 15, delivered September 23. FWD Reserve, just about all the options except we're staying with the 18" wheels, which came with Michelins.

The railcar number provided was always "no status available". I was told it would go by rail to Orlando and by truck from there.

So mine was built 09/04, and Lincoln Concierge advised me yesterday that there was no rail car assigned. So it appears that I may have to wait at least another month for mine.

No immediate plans, other than a rework of the center console. On our old RX, it had a nice open bin for my wife to put her purse in. I've already removed the fold-up thingamajig, so with the cover open her purse mostly fits. Next up is to remove the cover and create a better armrest. I'll post pics when it's done.

We were going to get a package tray or whatever it's called for the back, but I've found the one I had for the Cadillac didn't work well there, so it's now in the MKC.
