Agreed, but unfortunately I'm coming out of my lease and I can only extend it by 2 months. I ordered an Audi SQ5 last week once I was made aware of this. But again, I'll drive it as soon as one's available; and if it's really that good I can always cancel the order...interesting.. thanks for sharing

I asked the same Q: and what this means is that in order for a dealer to sell BL options, they need to be a Lincoln BL dealer; the email above simply states what markets they are 1st introducing Lincoln LB dealerships to. So, it's not to say that they are only allowing BL Lincolns in these areas, just from a retail perspective. You can always call up one of these 1st dealerships and order one that way, and have to delivered to your house. Also, according to whom I spoke to they are only allowing a small percentage of Lincoln dealers to become a BL dealer. Why would they only make it available in select major cities? It seems to me you would have to order these custom anyway, which mean they would have to build your car specially and then ship it to you. Why would they not just be able to ship your BL Lincoln from the factory to wherever you are, even if that's not one of the cities you listed above?
Well, if you have to go with the SQ5, I don't think you'll suffer too much.Agreed, but unfortunately I'm coming out of my lease and I can only extend it by 2 months. Yes I really like it - drove it several times to be sure as it's not cheep. But, I got over 4K off and in turn the lease rate was very good. I did go look at the MKC at the Canadian Auto show and it was a little underwhelming; but it more had to do w/the color and the opinions it had on it. I was looking forward to seeing the red one w/the 20" rims that was making it rounds at the shows; but nada.Well, if you have to go with the SQ5, I don't think you'll suffer too much.Seriously, the SQ5 is a pretty serious machine. Actually, any of the Q5's is pretty solid. My wife as a pretty well equipped 2.0T and she loves it. It's a b!itch to keep clean (brake dust), but aside from that it's been great. The quattro is pretty amazing in the snow. I'm considering the Q5 TDI myself.
