I have developed a major sensitivity to EMF and RF radio frequencies spending my whole life around technology. The lincoln MKC happens to be a model with reasonably lower emf but the keyless entry system is putting out several strong RF frequencies that effect me as soon as I enter the car. These same frequencies have caused issues with people that have pacemakers and other instruments for heart issues. I have rented a 2016 MKC with option to buy from hertz and found these signals so annoying for me (have seen 75+ doctors and no one can figure it out why I have this issue) and have opened a case with lincoln about diabling keyless entry. They referred me to a local dealership that did not know what to do so they put in a call to dearborn. The answer came back that the wireless signals put out by the car cannot be shut off and have the car operate properly so I had to return the car to hertz.

I am surprised that this vehicle and all fords are being created now that can actually harm someone with a pacemaker defibrillator device installed. Although my problem is not that severe the same signals are detrimental to me as well.

I have read lexus can disable this for customers on their cars. Just wondering if anyone at Ford knows anything more about the keyless entry system before I purchase a Nx200t as I really did love the MKC?

While your situation is certainly an issue I have never heard of the only thing to do, for your well being would be purchasing the Lexus, sometimes in life you don't win. Best of luck, and remember, your health is the most important thing.

I call BS. For reasons unknown my wifes 2015 Keyless entry stopped working while in the service area. She needed to bring back to enable it.

This was done at Ford/Lincoln in Manahawkin, NJ
