Does anyone have the names and contact info or where I can find this information for the executives of Lincoln Canada? I have come up empty doing internet searches.

Thanks but I already have that info...that just gets you to customer service...not anyone at an executive level.

Search for Matthew Van ****. He is one of the main execs. in Detroit. I wrote him a letter (his address was right there in the search result) and got a phone call in short order from one of his assistants. I imagine, being in Canada, you have a reason for wanting to contact an exec. who is part of the management of Lincoln Canada, but why not just go right to the top HQ in Dearborn?

I did a search for Matthew Van **** and he is now the VP of Ford of Europe marketing. I did find on Linkedn, Terry Erb, the Director of Sales & Service for Lincoln Canada. I contacted him there and he gave me his email address at Lincoln so I wrote him an email on Sun. but so far no response.

Perhaps, while you're waiting, you can find another person to try. Maybe take a look at media.lincoln.com to find another exec to contact.

I did not hear back from Terry Erb personally, however he did forward the lengthy email I wrote to him regarding all the issues with my MKC, to the Client Relationship Manager and she called me. We have come to a resolution on several issues.

Countryguy, glad to hear that your issues have been resolved by Lincoln. I'm having a problem with the transmission on my 2017 MKC. It has a fairly violent hiccup when switching from 2nd to 3rd gears and vice versa when downshifting. The dealership is refusing to do anything about it, so I'd like to escalate the issue to Lincoln Canada. Can you kindly provide the contact info for the person you dealt with? Thanks.

I wrote to Terry Erb, Director of Sales/Service at Lincoln Canada. His email is [email protected]. He did not write back to me personally but had the manager of customer relations contact me.

realtorguy:

I notice the same thing when downshifting from 3rd to 2nd gear - not as smooth as on my 2013 RAV4. I usually have no trouble downshifting to 3rd gear but have to watch the tach and not shift to 2nd until the engine speed is low enough. There are guide markings on the left side of the tach display.

I usually let the MKC shift up automatically - I haven't found any advantage in manually upshifting.

Thanks again for the contact info countryguy. I sent an email to Terry and received an out of office response. However, in the response he included the following:

In my absence please contact:
· Jim Rideout ([email protected]) for Sales inquiries
· Chris Fleury ([email protected]) for Client Experience inquiries
· Ryan Whitehead ([email protected]) for Marketing Communicaiton inquiries
· Eric Bolduc ([email protected]) for LDAA or Retail Marketing inquiries
· Richard Neumann ([email protected]) for Ownership Experience inquiries
· Carole Wilson ([email protected]) for Product Marketing inquiries

Hope this info helps anyone else trying to contact Lincoln Canada.

MKC4ME, my problems with the transmission aren't happening in manual mode, they're occurring in automatic. It's horrible, especially on initial startup. Even once things are up to normal operating temps the tranny is still very hiccupish under normal acceleration/deceleration. Under hard acceleration the whole vehicle jerks in a bucking like motion. This same thing did not happen in either the 2.0 or 2.3 testers I drove (i have a 2.3), nor did it happen with the loaner MKC the dealer gave me while mine was being looked at. And again just recently in the MKZ loaner, with the more powerful turbo V6, that they gave me, I didn't experience any hiccups, just smooth acceleration. All of these vehicles have the same transmission, so clearly there is an issue with mine.

Anyway, I've sent the email and am waiting for a response. I'll provide an update on the outcome as soon as I can.
