Wow, up to 4000 LBS, EcoBoost model is a pig!
You can adjust the height that the tailgate opens. I believe all you have to do is open the tailgate and hold it to the height you want, then push and hold the button on the tailgate until it beeps.I have not seen any dimension that includes the maximum height with the lift gate in the raised position. There are not any pictures of the side view with the rear door open where I could guess the height. I am concerned: will the rear door hit the top of the garage door when it is open? I am looking at a model with Select trim and that has a only a manual door in the back.
Looking at the manual, that may not be applicable to the manual liftgate. It appears it's there to control the stop point for the power version. You can adjust the height that the tailgate opens. I have a MKC Reserve (power lift gate) with 19" wheels. The height with the lift gate open all the way is 83.25 inches, and a couple inches too spare with a roll up steel double garage door.I have not seen any dimension that includes the maximum height with the lift gate in the raised position. Yes, thank you very much! I think that should leave 1 to 2 inches above the lift gate in my garage, depending on where I would park.I have a MKC Reserve (power lift gate) with 19" wheels.
