Does anyone have access to the ordering guide yet? Any Ford/Lincoln employees here that could email me the pdf? I'd like to start building my dream MKC and figure out exactly what I want.

I'm looking forward to the paint color options too. I'd really like a dark red, classy Bordeaux red metallic color if I can.

Not that I heard of. Seems like even people at dealers can't give us an exact date, instead an approximate date range. As we get closer to the date range they should be able to give us an exact time.

Found this info n the internet, and local dealer thought it was accurate:

Ford-Lincoln Trucks (Build Out Final Order Start Up Dates)

Indicates production starts: Monday, 4/21/14

But time to dealer unknown…probably quality review on initial builds.

It appears the date is accurate. I ordered mine last week. The dealer owner (with no provocation from me) said production is to begin late April and Ford/Lincoln has promised them no screw up at introduction like what happened with the MKZ.

So.. I sneak onto the local Lincoln dealership last Sunday (the gate wa open -- don't tell anyone!). They had a dozen MKC models on the lot. Not one of them had anything close to what I want. Who wants a $!700 moonroof? So I need to order. I can't afford one fluffed up to $48,000. I just want the safety features.

It's Fall 2016. Does anyone have any idea how long it will take to order a new Lincoln MKC?
How much down (and what if I cancel on pickup day)? Just curious.
