A common problem people have is holding the memory button down and waiting for something to happen. Of course this just resets the memory to the current seat position. Try just pressing for a second and releasing.
And when you set the memory, you need to hold that OK button for maybe a full 10 seconds- the grey bar on the LH monitor fills white as it is processing. I am impatient too- I want to click and go.
I did that & it worked for a long time, then 1 day it didn't work & i reset it & it works now. I don't like that it stopped working 2 times in the past.

My key fab is set for number 1, for small updating of the memory I press number 1 button on the door till I hear the chime. If I do need to use the door button for recall, just a simple press and release. Both 1-2 door buttons and both key fabs work every time.
Keep in mind the memory recall does NOT work by just touching the door handle for entry.
