Just traded in my 2015 Reserve for a new Black Label. Actually had purchased the Mkc in 2014 when they first came out. Had no problems what so ever. So we thought we would start looking at various new cars. On the list was the Mazada CX9 signuture,BMX 1,Nissan Murano. Well we found a brand new left over 2016 Black Label that listed for 58.000 and got it down to 42,000. Black Exterior and Beige seats and coffee color dash. Options are Thx stereo,Tech package,20 inch wheels, totally loaded. The day after we picked it up,got a owner loyalty rebate on a new Lincoln. The dealer actually honored it and just received the check in the mail,so I even got the vehicle lower. The dealer even threw in the front and rear mudflaps and the rear cargo mat. Guess he thought the car was sitting on the lot too long. Thought we made a right choice again as the other cars did not even come close to the options we got. One thing I can not get use to is the bar of red led lights in the dash by the windshield driver side that have gone off and the audible alarm when someone decided to stop to fast in front of me and the Mkc let me know. I will also enjoy the free yearly details and not to forget my free high class dinner(that I will enjoy),Part of the perks of the Black Label purchase.

Congrats on the new purchase. Nice deal!!!

I thought part of the Black Label experience was picking out colors etc... Maybe someone ordered it and backed out. So the Dealer had no choice. When shopping for our new one, there were a bunch of of 2017 BL MKC's with crazy low mileage. All were painted in unique colors. We just couldn't find one we liked.

Joebrez,You could be right. I know he said that he had just removed it from the selling floor. I too saw some Black Labels with the terrible color combos inside with very low mileage. One was Red outside and beige color seats with a orange color dashboard. I am like who would buy that. He told me that it had been for sale for a long time and no one was looking at it. So maybe I lucked out, cause the interior is perfect. It even has a suede headliner. I also ordered from Dawn enterprises a real nice rear bumper protector. The one I had on my previous MKC I had purchased for a MKX which worked out perfect but this one is way better and fits over the lip of the bumper in case you slide something down. I wish Lincoln would realize that people do load things and would come out with a bumper guard. Other than that I also order the front and rear floor mats in coca brown from weather tech and those fit perfect. I thought the color was a nice change inside and Lincoln did a good job on the interior. I did take the warranty and coating on the interior seats because of the color. I had a Infiniti QX50 with the beige seats and the color dye form the jeans just ruined those seats. The dealer told me that their was nothing that would clean those unless I had the coating. I already saw blue on the seats and took a wet washcloth and the blue just wiped off. Hope that will work all the time,if not they will take care of them for 5 years. One other thing I do like also the pickup and delivery service if your car needs work. They will bring a Lincoln to your home and take your car and bring it back. Thats nice cause they are far and that will work out for me. Hope I have as much luck with this one as my previous. The best thing of all NO PREMIUM FUEL REQUIRED. That was a major decision on the foreign brands. I used unleaded for three years in my other MKC and ran well.

In addition to the MKC, we have a G37xS (same motor as the QX50) so I feel your pain with Premium gas and overall thirst (although the power is awesome). As far as the blue-jean stains, good leather cleaners will get that out. I use both 3M and Chemical Guys leather cleaners and have never been beaten :). Leather, like skin needs to be cleaned and conditioned. They become very difficult to clean when the dry out.

It is a nice concept but the list is silly high beyond a loaded Reserve with maybe an extra 1K in features. So they do all those things for you but you paid for it in advance. You did well to buy as you did and have a unique ride.

If you were to examine the cost of parts of unique to the Black Label you would be stunned at some of the prices - The passenger side dash pad is roughly $800 on my Reserve where the leather covered pad for the Black Label is over $5K per side. Floor mats are roughly double also... Seat covers are about 50% more.

The cost of those extra parts is a fraction of the cost when you check the box. I bet the profit margin of those Black label options is 95% for FoMoCo.

I was complementing the buyer for not overpaying. He did well. If they had a Black Label on the lot at the end of the year, I might pick it up for the right price like he did.
