I also learned to drive on a Ford - a Galaxy 500. My parents' next car was the Capri!! In spite of that, I've never bought a Ford product since.
We went to a Ford/Lincoln dealership because the wife wanted to test drive the Edge and Escape. Afterwards the sales person showed us the MKC. A week later we bought one.
