you didn't notice the missing oil pressure?> the multiple pages to get to what was once on the initial page? I'd like to be able to have quick access to start/stop/lock/unlock the doors on the home screen.
not being able to open maps to see where the car is located?
on the fuel page it tells you press and hold where the percentage is, but offers no function where it says that, while it does work on the lock/unlock/start engine to press and hold-just an odd place to put the tip....
parking says where do you want to par missing the (k) when I choose current location the bottom says NO results-try searching in a new location-the filter on the top for parking does nothing.

I do like that it pulled my car color/wheel combination using the vin-I suggested that to the developers a few months ago- so that is nice
I like the presentation with fonts/colors

The app itself works as they intended, it just is not as functional as it used to be, look at the reviews on the play store; I am not alone in my sentiment.

I just installed the new app and there are pros and cons

Pros
1. The remote start/stop/lock/unlock features work much much quicker than previously. It took less than 10 seconds for each of them whereas previously it could be up to a minute. Also they all worked while I was inside my house. Previously I would always get a time out. The car is parked in my garage which is attached to the house on the other side of the wall from where I am sitting.
2. Previously when opening the app, the 4 digit PIN had to be entered.....on the new version the PIN is only required when using the 'operate' features (i.e. start/stop/lock/unlock)

Cons
1. After the app was downloaded I had to re-enter my userid and password, enter my VIN # and select my Pin # again...instead of the app remembering from the previous version
2. The start/stop/lock/unlock are no longer on the main page
3. Under the 'operate' tab there is the fuel level indicator and the start/lock/unlock functions however the oil pressure, tire pressure, mileage are no longer available....or at least I cannot find where they are displayed

*update*

I just got off the phone will the Lincoln Concierge. She told me that customers are having many different problems with the app. The missing mileage, tire pressure, etc. is one of the problems however she said other customers that were missing that information were also not able to use the app to start/stop/lock/unlock as well and in my case those functions do work so she has no explanation. She had me uninstall the app and re-install it but that did nothing to fix the issues. She says these functions may just mysteriously show up in the next day or 2? She is going to call me back on Fri.

PS. The battery status indicator is the other thing that is missing.

I assume there will be an update to the app itself once they get a handle on what is missing/broken/needed. I looked at the reviews on the Google Play store and noted a total of 34 reviews, 20 were 1 star. The other app had 10,000 downloads, that indicates a tidal wave will be coming in on them shortly. I'd vote for patience. Let us know what they tell you on Friday- I do not see this as being fixed by then, but you will know the latest.

I checked the app again today and nothing has changed since yesterday. I don't know how they can release a new version and have all of these items missing....don't their engineers and quality assurance department test anything? or do they even have a Q/A department?

Ain't it typical nowadays countryguy.....I'm more astounded at the programme itself....any self respecting car buff ( techie) writing this programme can easily see where the app is odd.....yet they continue with the rest of it as if it's all cool!

I had the same issue a few minutes ago. I had to delete the app from my phone and re-install. It is working again however nothing has been changed on it from the version that came out a few days ago...i.e. everything I reported missing in my previous message...is still missing. Oh and still no call back from the concierge.

I am also missing oil life, battery and tire status. But mileage is under "My Vehicle" from the Home page. You go to My Vehicle, then you have to tap on the picture of the vehicle you want, even if you only have one listed. If you then scroll down, you will see the fuel gauge, vehicle mileage, and when service is due. Below, there is also more sub choices for vehicle details, maintenance schedule, and vehicle support.

Thank you enbridge for pointing that out! I see the same information. I never thought of tapping on the car picture. I don't know why they just didn't add the text 'Tap Here for more Info'. So now just the oil life, tire pressure and battery indicator are missing.

My new revision app failed at first but it is working fine today. Still, it was a PIA to start over. I'm glad I could retrieve my VIN from my insurance website - saved me a walk outside in the cold this morning!

I was able to scan my VIN off my B-pillar tag.

I have been resisting the update but today I could no longer open the old app, the new and improved app for lack of a better term "sucks donkeys".
