Additional notes:
Recall number 16S14; engineering notes will be sent to dealerships by the 6th April 2016 at which point you may book your appointment with your respective dealership for the swap <--- this info supplied by Lincoln Canada.
My built date 00- Sept-2016 and mine comes under this recall, so it looks like pretty widespread.
USA counterparts may have a different recall number and availability.

Very limited states in the lower 48 come with engine block heaters in their MKCs as standard. For me in Illinois it is not even an option.

Looks like my MKC is one of the affected vehicles as well as mine was built in Dec/2014.

I just called the Ford dealer and made an appointment for Apr. 11 to have the winter tires taken off. They are also to continue working on the TPMS to find out what the problem is with it. I also mentioned the block heater recall so they are looking into that. I did not use the block heater at all this winter as I park the car in the garage all the time.

I already changed back to my all season tires last Wednesday, the dealer stores my winter wheels/tires till next year....what's going on with your TPMS? They had to retrain my tire sensors with the change over, but that takes all of 2 minutes...do you have some faulty sensors?
I used the block heater, made warm up that much more rapid, during cold days.
The MKC got a new garage this winter that I started building in mid fall last year. Walls, door, roof and skylight are all in, hydro is also running...but never got to finish the inside with insulation and drywall yet...and that was a COLD garage...2 nd week of April I will complete it.

Also found this recall,it effects the 2.0 eco boost engine:2013 Lincoln MKC
2014 Lincoln MKC
2015 Lincoln MKC
2016 Lincoln MKC
The problem: Vehicles with Ford's 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine may exhibit fuel odor originating from the positive crankcase ventilation hose. This condition may be due to faulty hose assembly.

See More Service Bulletins

Corrective action: Dealers will replace the PCV hose assembly.

Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the Ford/Lincoln new-car, extended or federal emissions warranty, whichever applies.

The TPMS is not working. I did not have the sensors installed in my winter tires so when I had the tires installed I expected the TPMS light on the dashboard to be on all winter as it was in all my other cars when I had my winter tires on (with no sensors installed in them) but the light has not been on at all. I've had the car to the dealer a couple of times to check the system and they couldn't find anything. Lincoln had them try a few things and still nothing. Finally they said to just wait until spring when I put the all seasons back on....supposedly it will be easier to find the problem with the tires and the sensors on the car. The light did come on a couple of times this winter but only when I was driving in a snow storm and after about 25 km but then the next day when I drove the car the light was off again.

Shot in the dark country guy; wonder if the system is recognizing there are NO sensors in the wheels, so not activating warnings, with one sensor out of whack, I can see the light coming on and staying on, but maybe if all 4 wheels are without sensors, it's not triggering the system to ON....
I ended up buying a sensor learning tool, so I can just do my own wheel exchange, was cheap too, paid $25.00 including batteries, picked it up at the Parts counter at my dealership,I have another one for the Mustang wheels, but I guess it works on different brand sensors, works just fine when I switch from winter to summer tires on the Mustang but it's not recognized by the Lincoln sensors!
I have sensors for all wheels, summer and winter for both cars...

Just saw a new recall the other day for the new M-B GLC where the airbag could unexpectedly deploy and/or the vehicle stall. Glad we havent one like that. Recalls can affect every manufacturer, regardless of vehicle cost or status; especially with all of today's tech in these cars.

Yup, any car for sure. It looks like the risk of air bag deployment is pretty low/rare but possible and affects a small group of GLCs. Its more a wiring harness in the steering column that can pinch it seems.

Definitely keeping tabs on the GLC and FPace for next vehicles but have to say I saw them both at the car show and was disappointed and surprised in back seat room of both cars. Not much more than the GLA or the MKC. The MKX also did not have leg room I expected for the increase in size. Guess you gotta go big to get that back seat room. Our Cadillac had so much room even with the seats all the way back but that thing was huge..but not fun to drive.

5.0 Candy, I thought the same thing that maybe the TPMS was smart enough to recognize that there were not any sensors in any of the 4 tires and thus turned itself off but according to the dealer as well as Lincoln tech, that is not the case. They tell me that the light should be on. Also as I mentioned the light did come on a couple of times this winter after driving in a snow storm for about 25 km but then the next day it was off again so obviously there is a problem in the system somewhere...they just have not been able to find it.

Funny how that works....logically, the programme should be set up to "know" TPMS sensors are not within the perimeter of the car, assess and shut it down till the next "start" cycle ...10 start cycles later,it should go dormant till sensors ARE installed....Hope they find the issue CG and get things sorted out fast!

Well the problem was noticed when I had the winter tires installed last October and the car has been to the dealer 3 times to try and find the issue but so far nothing.
