Hi all, have only had my MKC for 3 weeks now, but I have a slight rattle in my front passenger seat back when going over larger bumps. Probably just needs to be tightened up (as it's not there when my wife is in the car) but wondered if anyone else has noticed this.
of the seat? it appears to be somewhere in the area of the outboard side of the passenger seat, near the lower end. Slight pressure on the seat, mimicking someone sitting in it, will eliminate it.
It is the passenger seatbelt buckle. It bumps against the seat frame then the door post. My driveway is a little rocky, and there is a low speed RR crossing just right for that belt buckle to bang around.
I buckle it in the empty front passenger seat.
This is a bit of a pain.
The other day my radio volume was low and was first time I have heard an odd ocassional rattling coming from passenger side at low speed at bad roadway spots.
Turned out to be the passenger seat belt buckle against the console. Slight move of the buckle away from the console and been fine the past couple days.:|
