While using Sync tonight, the screen suddenly went blank for a good 30 seconds. It then came up with the Sync logo and showed "Performing Scheduled System Maintenance." with a status bar until it booted back up. I've seen posts other places on other Ford models, but nothing here for the MKC.

Anyone else have this happen?

Haven't had happen on my MKC yet, I've only had it two weeks. But I have had this happen from time to time on my 2013 Edge. Service told it is part of the sync system regular routine of maintenance.

Thanks. Only had my MKC two weeks as well. Never had a computer that was part of a vehicle reboot on me before.
