Phone Placement?

I'm just wondering how others are either storing or mounting their mobile phones in the MKC. Right now, I just put mine in the front small storage compartment, under the center stack. I've seen mounts that you can install via the CD opening but it seems that those would cover up a large portion of your ECP, especially if your mobile is on the larger size.

Any other options?

Hey Darrin,
I am using such a device that fits in the CD opening and I love it! It is designed to rotate on a ball and socket allowing considerable movement. I have it installed upside down giving me full view of the screen and it only interferes somewhat with the fan speed control.
I bought it on Amazon for $16.00 - brand name "koomus" - and am very pleased. I had too many close calls while reading texts and emails. No more!
Hi Bruce, that was actually one I was looking at on Amazon. Does the magnet work out OK?

Hey Darrin,
The phone mount magnet is very strong, in fact, you get two thin pieces of metal about 1 1/2" square that fits in your phone case. One of them has sticky tape if needed. I just put one of them with out the adhesive in my case and the magnet does very well. If I use both pieces of metal, I can't hardly get the phone off the mount! I'm very pleased with the entire design.
Mine stays in my pocket. Texts and emails can wait until I'm not driving.

Pro Clip now has a mount for the MKC
Have been a log time user of ProClip mounts. Have had them in 4-5 different cars over the past few years. Great quality and easy to install. Got one for my MKC as soon as they were available. Could not be happier.

I am also a longtime user of ProClip Mounts...

I am also a longtime user of ProClip Mounts... They are custom designed to fit a particular car, easy to install, and they offer a variety of phone cradles to accommodate specific phone models and various protective case thicknesses.

Note: I have the same mount as pictured above. They also offer a version that attaches at the same place on the LEFT side of dash.
I bought bins on Amazon that fit in the grab handle area of the door panels. I put my phone in there, usually.
ProClip USA is the way to go. Here's ones installed on my car but it's nearly exactly the same in my wife's MKC.

You wouldn't happen to have a link or model number for the left-side mounted one, would you?

Thanks!
The left side mount was discontinued after I bought my right side mount. The right side mount can be found here:
2018 Lincoln MKC Dashboard Mounts | ProClip USA. Various device holders are available to fit different phones and cases.
Anyone successfully using something positioned higher? Like at the screen level or above. I don’t want it as low as the ProClip
