I'm pretty close to buying 2016 MKC loaded. One thing I noticed though on lower trim model is this nice little mirror located at the top left corner. Unfortunately, with BLIS, they remove this mirror. :crying

Is there a way to get both? I'd rather be active and check blind spots and only use the BLIS light as "oops" scenario. I don't think it would have been that hard for Lincoln/Ford to include both into the same mirror...

I consider myself an "active" driver, but really appreciate the BLIS. Because the driver's side view mirror is mounted so far to the rear there really is a blind spot. If it was about a foot toward the front it would increase the field of view, and you wouldn't have to turn your head so far away from your direction of travel (and the frontal traffic).
